Career

Tariq has a background in mechanical engineering (BSc) and aerospace engineering (MSc, cum laude). Following the completion of his masters at Delft University of Technology, he pursued his doctoral education in the aero and hydrodynamics laboratory also at TU Delft. He received the young scientist award in 2019 for his work on multiphase flows. He has a broad experience in statistical analysis, physics and high performance computing.

As of October 2021, Tariq works at EDP Patent Attorneys as a trainee patent attorney.

Personality

Tariq has a keen interest in scrutinizing technical innovations. His passion for presenting scientific concepts allows him to describe things in a clear and concise manner. He is friendly and aims to have a pragmatic working relationship with his clients.

Tariq is the co-author of two publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals. He has also been actively involved in presenting his research at international conferences.
