Career

Through her academic training, Paulien delved into the field of chemistry, obtaining a BSc in Chemistry and an MSc in Molecular Sciences (Radboud University), along with a minor in Data Science (Wageningen University & Research). For her dissertation, she worked at Radboud University on the development of a conductive, dynamic dendritic network using electropolymerization and amphiphilic structures.

As of March 2026, Paulien works at EDP Patent Attorneys as a trainee patent attorney.
